Based on a headcanon of mine.
I was just thinking about how scary it is to be so wholly dependent on the person you love. Sasuke especially, who'd lost everyone he'd loved, would be afraid of this vulnerability. And the fact that Sasuke tried to really kill Naruto for his own gains wouldn't just disappear, and having experienced all these intense but opposing emotions would be disconcerting at times.
If they ever get together in ninjaverse I doubt it's going to be always so happy-go-lucky, even if (to me) it's obvious that they can't NOT be attracted to each other.
